Thoughts on August 8, 2008

I hate technology. I hate how it deceptively plugs us into a system – a system that parades that only technology can meet our needs. I hate how technology is thought our savior. I hate how technology can never be questioned. I hate that immigrants get blamed for jobs when infact meaningless technology is actually the main reason for job loss (e.g. self-checkouts). I hate how technology gives people image. I hate how it transforms my own. I hate how technology receives more popular attention than human beings. I hate how technology contributes to the alienation of the old and the dumbing of the young.
